Senator Don Balfour Will Seek to Replace John Linder

Sen. Don Balfour, chairman of the Senate Rules Committee, has announced he will be a candidate for Congress in the race to replace U.S. Rep. John Linder.  Balfour made his announcement while in Egype where as president of the National Conference of State Legislatures, he was there to make a speech to an education conference.

Balfour said he is running to be the voice of principled conservative leadership for the 7th District.
